Especially like the "all dressed up and nowhere to go" 3rd shot, Dan. Perfect placement of sunflower and frond. I missed spotting the honeybee coated with pollen -- amazing image -- in the 4th shot. Maybe sharpen the bee a little bit more to bring it out. Good show. Jane
3 favorites: with grass head, with laden honey bee - the ultimate monochrome, such an intimate interaction between organisms, and the backlit backs with the bush on the horizon. Nice variety. Sunflowers are aptly named, the experience of being with them - their size, shape, healthy appearance, COLOR, evocative gesture in the sun energized. We are lucky to be able to appreciate their glow.
I really like the last image a lot, the backlit field with the round bush at the center. Very nice use of light and forms, the shapes and the way the flower become denser at the horizon. I feel like it could make a beautiful print.
